The London Neurodiversity Clinic is committed to ensuring that your information is protected.

What information we collect:

Computerised records are kept about your/ your child’s basic information, such as name, address, date of birth, contact details, referrer name and General Practitioner name.  Handwritten or typed notes will be taken during the assessment session and kept in a safe and secure place. These will include personal and sensitive details about your child’s life.   

Why we collect your/ your child’s information:
Information collected during the assessment and notes are used solely for the delivery of our service to you.

Who we share your/ your child’s information with:

Information provided is securely kept and solely for the clinicians’ use and scheduling appointments. 

There may be times when your information needs to be shared with 3rd parties. We will explicitly ask for your consent before doing so, and the data will securely be sent to 3rd parties.

We are bound by our professional code of conduct to report safeguarding concerns. We require you to provide details of your GP. If there are concerns, we will discuss these with you and let you know the procedures we are following.

How long we'll store your/ your child’s information:

Your information is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested. However, outside of this, we will hold your details and any notes for a period of 7 years following the end of our work with you to comply with our legal obligations placed upon us by our insurers. After this date, all data will be securely deleted.
