Dr Tara Murphy is a Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist. She currently co-leads two teams at Great Ormond Street Hospital within the NHS and has a thriving private practice. Dr Murphy’s areas of specialism include assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions including Tourette syndrome, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disorder. She is studying for a part-time PhD at University of Nottingham investigating mental health and resilience in young people living in remote geographical locations. Dr Murphy has authored more than 60 peer reviewed publications, written several book chapters, co-authored four books and co-edited an academic text on paediatric neuropsychology.
