Dr Jasmin Aquan-Assee

Dr Jasmin Aquan-Assee is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years expertise in providing assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults.  She is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and she is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. 

In addition to her private practice, she has worked in a wide variety of specialist paediatric hospital centres and Child and Adolescent mental Health and Developmental mental health settings in the UK, Canada, USA and Singapore.  She has also acted as an expert witness in developmental and psychological functioning for family and criminal courts.  She has co-authored a number of academic publications and book chapters on a range of topics such as sibling relationships and pain management.  

She provides comprehensive learning and psychological assessments of children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide range of cognitive, developmental, social, and emotional issues. Examples of issues she can help with include attention or organisational problems, thinking or processing differences (neurodivergence), cognitive profiles associated with a medical condition, language or memory difficulties, sensory problems, friendship struggles, and anxiety or depression.
